The Nicaragua Necklace Project started in 2019 in collaboration with the American Nicaraguan Foundation. Our founder, Vanessa Sirias, felt a strong need to help her community.
Our collaboration with ANF raised more than $3,000 to help those in need. This project was active from 2019-2022.
What does the ANF do?
ANF works to provide education, housing, medical care, food, water and emergency aid to Nicaragua’s most vulnerable impoverished communities. With every Nicaragua Necklace you purchase, we provide food, water and medical aid to those communities. We donate a percentage of our profit to the American Nicaraguan Foundation.
Our Impact
Since 2019, we have helped countless families in need as a result of The Nicaragua Necklace Project. Many public figures have been involved in supporting this project including Miss Nicaragua 2016 , Miss Nicaragua 2017, Miss Nicaragua 2018, among others. Thanks to the support of our clients and advocates, we have donated more than $3,000 to ANF. These resources have continued the efforts of ANF and have been used to provide food, shelter and medical aid to those in need
COVID-19 Response
During the COVID-19 pandemic, our donations from the Nicaragua Map Necklace have been especially helpful and have provided emergency aid packaged to those affected by the crisis. ANF’s goal is to benefit thousands of at-risk families with a monthly emergency aid package that includes food and hygiene supplies
